Victoria Hall was founded in 1860. It is a not-for-profit organization supported by the Victoria Hall Trust which ensures affordable rents. It is administered by two volunteer groups, the Board of Trustees and the Committee of Management. The current residence, built in 1885, has approximately 70 rooms. Each of the three floors has residents' rooms, parlours, and tearooms. All special events take place in the main parlour and dining room which are furnished with antiques.
In 2000 a completely new garden area was designed at the rear of the Hall resulting in new pathways, a patio and gazebo, and charming sitting areas under shade trees and among the flower beds. Click to download and view our history.
